Mini Pony Tackle Football (Grades 2–3)
Our Mini Pony Tackle Football program is designed for young athletes in grades 2–3 who are ready to learn the fundamentals of tackle football in a safe, structured, and instructional environment. Players will develop football skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while building confidence and enjoying the game.

Registration Fee: $160 (includes all equipment: helmet, shoulder pads, and game uniform)
Eligibility:
Male or Female Participants must reside in or attend school within the Catoctin Feeder District, including:
Thurmont Primary School, Thurmont Elementary School, Thurmont Middle School, Mother Seton School, or Sabillasville Environmental School.
All ages and grade eligibility are determined as of September 1, 2026. 🏈
* This is for "older but lighter" players. These players meet the requirement of their designated level based on Grade, but currently "age out" of those levels based on Age. Since these players qualify based on Grade, they would have to meet the "older but lighter" requirement for playing which reduces the weight at each level by 15 lbs. In order to qualify for "older but lighter" the player must be in the designated grade for that level. Example: 9 year old in 3rd grade would qualify for the "older but lighter" because they are still in 3rd grade but would be subject to the lighter weight restrictions.
